My Husband Returning home from Iraq!

How long must we be apart

 With you is my heart

 

Will I shed a tear

Being released from fear

 

Trying but can't sleep

Listening to every sounds beat

 

When we have more than a moment

I will sleep peacefully

 

Questions in my mind

Doesn't help pass the time

 

The end is drawing near

Soon you will be here

 

Might not feel so alone

The day you finally come home
