Sometimes in April

Were most days in June

Way back in my life

You were my shadow

Often when we hung out

We were as the moon in the sky

Most days in June

Was worth no April in a year

Somewhere in mind

Another took dominion

If only thoughts were seen

June will be a year

Sometimes in April

Were too dreadful sometimes
