He loves me

He loves me not

Should I get my hopes up?

Is the answer no?

 

He loves me

He loves me not

Shall I give it a shot?

Just tell me if so

 

He loves me,

He loves me not,

I keep dreaming it up

Until the last petal comes

 

He loves me

He loves me not

I don’t want to believe in this but

I want to feel safe

 

He loves me

He loves me not

The last petals in my hands

I feel that I should stop

 

He loves me

He loves me not

He loves me

 

I stared at the petal

And back to the flower

 

He loves me not

I'm not used to writing romance, and this has been a child of a puppy like crush. Nothing all too serious. But I see that what I wrote seems all too corny :/

Not corny at all!!!! More like....flowery. Is that a compliment? Becca says yes. It's cool how you keep repeating the lines that I think all of us girls have said at one point. Well, not cool but...different. Different and cool and flowery. For someone who isn't used to writing romance poetry I think you're pretty darn good. I'd give you two thumbs up if my wrist wasn't sprained. Not that that impedes the use of my thumb but....ok anyways.

So, just a recap: not corny; different, cool and flowery, good at writing romance poetry, and will get two thumbs up as soon as I can figure out how to portray that with letters; dinosaur shaped cookies are the bomb and I like to pretend that it's the end of the world when I bite their heads off.

P.S. I'm the first one to comment! That means I love your romance poetry the most!!!!!!
