Jig-saw Friends

Jig-saw Friends

A Poem by Kajal Gulabani

'Tis so far from our reach,
That tinkle which shines on an ether,
"Catch me if you can", it beseech,
Sigh! Just a few can win over.

Think not twice on that, forsooth,
Pals are rooted in the burrow of soils,
Love stirs up cosmic bells, is truth,
But,
Amity showers where string of faith coils.

Whilst lack of care paves a feign path,
Heavens! If only thou bless me a bull's eye,
Soar then, with you above the layer of wrath,
Here I flock with my 'feather- birds', so high !

Sulk not over your marred life's jig - saw,
Sure will you find your lost cards,
Pick them up without an inch of flaw,
Wonder ! They complete the charades.

Need no starry cluster to outshine the heart,
Amongst all, it's the 'North Star' that stands apart.
So do I call them 'jig-saw' friends,
True friendships thus join hands.

I am just a sucker for old English and therefor enjoyed your poem very much so. The message behind it is beautiful and the structure looks well though out. Amazing write!

Yes people are a bit of a puzzle and figuring them out so they fit in can be a learning experience, finding a corner piece is always a real gem and to be held onto

Hmmm intriguing read, is this about friends that are out of reach but still shine in your life, seems as though you were speaking to me? Holding your hand, either way, I love it.... ;-)
