Sleeping Garden

Sleeping Garden

A Poem by kaotikal

Broken down and here I stay
In the haze of a pouring rain.
I can hear the angel’s say;
Time is slipping further away.

In the grasp of your cosmic skies
Oceans of you in my eyes
Lost in your sleeping garden again
Buried in the mud you left me in

Rapt by ecstasy of our nights
Never trying to see the light
All that I ever fought to save
Forever becomes one more grave

Blue skies will never exist
Nothing could ever eclipse this
Cradled in your lullaby
Listening to the wind cry

Bless the child that smiles in vain
No knowledge of this tragic tide
On this shore I will remain
Until you take me to your side

Excellent read. :)The rhythm kept up the whole way through and portrayed a pretty picture.
