Under A Thumb Nail Moon

Under A Thumb Nail Moon

A Poem by kaotikal

Under a thumbnail moon in a meadow

I watched a white midnight mist

it flowed from the earth, twirling in a seductive twist

A flowing dress and long silk hair

An elegant smile with skin so fair

She told a story in a poetic dance

The melody of two souls woven in romance

No need for thought when I already know

The beginning is now, in her eyes I let go

and with a kiss she gave to me

The world becomes our playground

And forever we will be,

 dancing under the thumbnail moon.

I like how you begin your poem
Under a thumbnail moon in a meadow
I watched a white midnight mist..........Read aloud your poem or better still have someone else read it aloud....this will help you with ryhthm...ebb and flow of a poem needs to run smooth...for me it lacks the smoothness
