gentle

gentle

A Poem by k. brown

gentle

he’s something  gentle; a genuine softness.

textile eyes and blushing lips that
he brushes on his cotton scarf.

i envy not;

but am in awe: a doe

could learn better

from

even his sweet, bayleaf scent.
