My life flew away!

My life flew away!

A Poem by Kaushik Mitra
"

Death is quite confusing! Sometimes we want to taste it and sometimes we all are afraid! Yet we know the death will taste us, for sure...

"
My life flew away with the stream of water,
With many stones that really matter,
Life was like an ocean that remained almost calm,
Some layers were cold some were really hotter!

Ocean was starving with eyes full of tear,
Vision became dull and was not easy to steer,
Forever I was cheerful that's what everyone saw,
Was that real or an illusion mere!

Lived that awesome festival the way I wanted,
In which even the smallest thing was carefully crafted,
Now the things have turned from fast to slow,
As if the candle cease to be litted!

Here those chirping of birds is hard to hear,
And my soul is flying round the year,
There is nothing to be afraid of,
Still the silence all around evoke my fear!

Am I glad being away from those heavenly relations,
Where there is no commitments and thus confusions,
Actually nah along with a damn yeah,
'Cause what I get here is the satisfaction...

This is a wonderful piece....death is certainly gonna wrap us in her arms one day....we can't taste it until and unless it comes our way but we can smell it...
