Eclipse

Eclipse

A Poem by Lee Rhodes

The world awkening from its deep slumber.
A deep slumber succumbed by the dark of night.
Escping from the belly of the beast into a different land of eternl light. Breaching and twisting out of the mouth. Kicking nd flling onto the soft dewey grass.
Wrapped up in damp arms, hugging and pulling you into a morning that will never come...

i fine this piece interesting...there is hope of the new day...awakening from the deep slumber yet at the same time, the damp arms pull us into a morning that will never come...

perhaps this is afterlife...

nicely penned...

leaves that open ended feeling that allows us to contemplate.

i like that.
