Something in Sync

Something in Sync

A Poem by Forever Mine
"

Everything is one

"

The view before me

Is neverending

The sun and the moon

Acting as one

The clouds and stars in sync

The field of poppies

Before me sway in the breeze

I look up towards the heavens

Eagles and owls fly as one

My world is a fantasy

As i sit and ponder

I write all I see

My white dress becomes green;

Changing shape and pattern

My long hair flowing -

Like rippling water;

In the breeze

I look at the ground - pondering hell

Suddenly everything is gone

My world is no more

Everything is becoming seperate

Why does this always happen?

I wake up and realize none of

it is real

I want it back- before I forget

Before

Everything I know is gone.

Keep writing... tis one of the realest representations of what we see and experience, captured in words.

So true. I get great ideas for images or themes while I am trying to fall asleep. I'm thinkng that's brilliant and repeat it in my mind over nd over to memorize it. The next morning all I can remember is how brilliant it was. Grrrrrrr! Great write.

Everything I know is gone.
What a great way to end it. Do you find these pictures online and then write poetry about them? Because it seems to be your calling. Maybe you draw them, I don't know. The point is that it's a great poem that gives the background to what the picture is all about. I liked the style -- created a more...fast paced atmosphere. As if she didn't have a lotta time to say everything. Nice.

I like this one

I know how that is. I took this as a metaphor that summer ended (for me anyway) and I defiantly enjoyed reading this, again and as usual. Keep up the good work.

Love the imagery in this poem and it starts out so mythical and the you let reality set back in. This is beautifully written.
