Too Wild

Too Wild

A Poem by kelseyalexrose
"

I don't know either. I've got wildness on the brain.

"
The moon controls the tides,
And the beating rhythms of my heart.
She holds me close
And wipes away
The red-stains from my teeth.
Too wild, she whispers--
Too wild in the heart.
Too wild, she says,
That I choke with it;
Jaw-locked,
Tongue-crunched,
Bold with it.
Until I return to her;
Teeth stained red with the words I never said,
And she wipes them clean
So I can breathe,
And I can speak,
And I can just… be.

There's nothing wrong with wilderness on the brain. I like this.

Judging from the nice little picture you've included, I'd say the speaker may have either eaten too many fairies with his big scary teeth or he has simply eaten too many of his words. I kinda like this. :)
