Really Bad Poem- A first draft

Really Bad Poem- A first draft

A Poem by Kenzie Morg
"

Don't kill me, this was a school assignment, and me being the most oppositional person ever, I did not want to do this assignment. And I am having creative difficulties. Any critique would be good.

"

I saw a childlike innocence in your eyes

As you snapped

Killing for the first time

Your expression was shocked

But when it happened again

You laughed like a child

No one would have predicted

The laugh was that of a predator

And you were torn from me

When you walked

You were light on your feet

Can I be an accessory

To your strange behavior

I’m rooted to your side anyway

Your glass eyes never blink

When you take a life

I cannot be at ease

When you take what belonged to me

Your soft curls are in a daze

Always selfish

Kill for fun

Is this a disease or a phase?

Help with rhyme and rhythm? I've always had trouble with that.
