Lord of Battle

Let the Lord of Battle live in me
Giving me the strength I need to see
Where it is my troops should be
And when I really need to flee.

Let the Lord of Battle whisper in my ear
And tell me the secrets of fear
And how to hold my comrades dear
Of how, the ranks of my enemies, to shear.
