Parsnip pixies

Have you heard of the parsnip pixies

they live under the ground

because they are very quiet you may not know they are around

but every carrot seed that's planted

every parsnip seed that's dropped

is picked and so examined to ensure the upwards is top

you may think that I am joking

You may say "they can't be there"

But have you ever seen a parsnip grow with its bottom in the air?
