A Lot About Love

poem/monologue; for him

now

i'm not saying i know a lot about 

love

but ever since  i saw you

i'm feeling kinda 

like an expert 

preaching to people

i never even met before

before you go ahead

and leave me

for some white trash 

elsewhere

hear me out

i may not know a lot about love

but i know you

and that's quite enough
