are just words

some say mine are nothing like they've ever heard before

but somehow i got an idea

and i'm gonna let it explode

don't care whether or not they'll listen

i just want my voice to be heard

tired of being ignored 

i want to scream

and shout

this life i'm living

isn't complete

some say i'm a soothsayer

forbidden words coming out of my mouth

some say 

they know me like no other

but what i say goes

even if no one knows

what i'm talking about 

i'll listen but i won't obey

i'll take action

but what i do

i won't say

i'll speak my mind

won't stop talking until my wings make me fly

and i'll keep loving him

just like no one wanted

Today's words are so cruel so hurtful, and so powerful. It's truly unfair about how many words are left unspoken that need to be said, or words that are never even given the chance to form. Those words are just as important about the cruel words that are said yet all we do is focus on how we can hurt people with them. A great poem about speaking out and words in general.
