Impenetrable Ghosts

Impenetrable Ghosts

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot

"
as my heart beats like the soft clang
produced by stars
the moon hangs by my dreams
when the sun swears never to rise up
i am at peace
feeding on the argumentative energy
their aura is dark
may we collapse?
it's a start
cast the shadow of our love
the moon will protect us from corruption
the sun will protect us from exhaustion
the stars will keep up immortal
by the lies we tell ourselves
and the mistakes we keep repeating

I love the shorter poems more than the longer poems. They are easier to read, and the message to me comes out louder and clearer than in your longer ones. But that's just my opinion here. This poem is another great piece of writing and is easy to enjoy. Thanks for sharing such a well written poem and have a great day.
