Act 2: “The Secrets of Chocolate”

Me and Kelly are at the movies�"some black and white silent movie, “Duck Soup”�"one of my favorites…

We get settled in and cuddle each other as the movie starts, “a buttered popcorn, my sweet?” he coos, offering me a buttery piece of popped corn- to that, I answer, just as coo-filled, “why yes, my beloved”- I open my mouth and giggle as the delicacy is dropped in- closing my mouth simultaneously…

Nom nom

The movie starts and a hush is spread across the theatre…

The movie ends and our mouths are agape�"“what in the Sam heck did we just watch” Kelly said, totally befuddled at the contents of the silent film, I snickered… “something worth talking about, that’s for sure” .

Kelly nodded and got up-- as I was following suit, an elderly man turned around in his seat to look at us; as we got out of our row, he called to us, “Did you know the early Mesoamericans believed that chocolate had come from Quetzalcoatl, the god of wisdom?”

Kelly whipped around in his stance and glared at the man, who had just pulled out a Hershey’s chocolate bar and was now peeling the wrapper, watching the both of us as he bit into it.

“Did they now?” he challenged,

Note: Act 2 is a daydream, reacting to an auditory recording he sent to me, speaking on my chocolate-eating habits. I only eat this way with Ferrero Rocher’s [spelled how I say the name, prob false… oh well].
