sea

sea

A Poem by AKhaus

no silence by the sea
the foul smell of life torn and born and devoured by those crashing sounds
white crested are the arms of his blue
the insects born out of his mouth filled with salt and sand
his fury pounding again and again
dragging the ground out further and spitting her up as forgotten waste
no silence by the sea

I like this different view you've offered. It's not the romantic vision we often associate with the sea, it's the rough and insensitive, the harsh and unpredictable side
