A Poem by AKhaus

i don't know who i am and so i circle round and round
i hate to be trapped but in constant bondage
if love could be free and without consequence
how i would like to be free and in love
how i would wish to be bare, exposing my flesh
yet, i hear the hounds on my trail
the forest has an end
how much longer can i run
how much longer can i run
to only witness a single moment with you
a moment of your sweetest song from the longest branch
the melody intoxicating
yet, the image is cracked by the trap

Interesting. I like you title, it set the tone/feeling for the poem, but the poesy was well written and developed the tone well all on its own.
