the divide between us

the divide between us

A Poem by AKhaus
"

separation

"
is there anything more impressive than this clear blue water
the divide which fills the need between us
how the most tender lips escape my kiss as the rivers feed you
how the most furious storms shudder my sensibility as the waves consume you
the moon persuades your directions
and I set calmly on the shore
I set to only witness this vastness of you
and yet it is mere reflections of who you are and not where you exist
what is here is now and what is past is there
no bridge can extend such a length
'tis only dreams that welcome you back from such a distance call
and as I wake I take caution not to find myself floating in the peril of you
I cannot be with you and that is my cry
there is nothing more impressive than this great divide

the separation is painful and the desire to swim in those waters can be strong, but dangerous. You wrote this well.

division is only one line away from adding. Adding value and appreciation through the dividend. Yes, thats what division does to us, it adds meaning to life.
