dance

dance

A Poem by AKhaus

Dance in that black silence and hear my feet pounding out that pain, that anguish of capture.
Never stopping this stomp, even when the bones break and blood saturates the fabricated floors of this oppressive construct.

I can't hear the lies anymore, my eyes have shut and I just dance.

What is living if it is contained in the stark prison you have placed me within?
I can only escape like Lovelace, from these stone walls which wreak of hypocrisy and cruelty.

Your mind has confined me, my orchestrated image so that you may feel justified in such things.

I can't hear the lies anymore, my eyes have shut and I just dance.
You never seem to free the past from that skull so that anyone will ever have a chance.
I told you and I will tell you again, this was our last dance!
