mere chance

mere chance

A Poem by AKhaus

mere accident, accidents happen...
in these circles of coincidence, coincidences there is happenstance, happenstances

the smoke lifting from the sand as the sun sets fire to the ocean's waves...it's all by chance we have this plane.
captured in that frozen moment in time, no shadows penetrate or pervert the seams as the colors of the immortal soul bleeds.

mere accidents, coincidences of happenstance...

knocking heels on the black concrete as the sound weakens and the night takes her into the dark silence, the touch of a stranger gratifies the untouched and unseen parts that hide.

circles of time just winding into each other as the friction of the unknowing light the moon's veil to bring our dreams to life.

mere accidents, coincidences of happenstance...

the eyes sunk into both worlds as the body tears between them, the heart muted by the deafening chaos of these parallel realms.

victims of these sequential and seemingly arbitrary movements towards unfound treasures are only mere accidents, mere chance, mere coincidences, just merely happenstance
