Slip knot

Slip knot

A Poem by AKhaus

Wrapped around without a sound, she slithers gently round my throat.
Her eyes fixed like perfect diamonds to cut me down.
The tightness intensifies and I see blue shades as the red turns cold.
No getting out of this alive…she’s always been my slip knot.
The killing so seemingly soft and the quiet easing me down to the ground.
