Final Girl

Final Girl

A Poem by AKhaus

Empty words filling this air as I fall to my knees.
The seams stretched apart and my heart is broken by the silence parting your lips for the very last time.
That pendulum has finally severed an artery and I’m bleeding you from me.
Go quickly into the night as the rain washes away these stains.
