Rancid

Rancid

A Poem by AKhaus

Please take this hunger away!
I’ve eaten plenty and no longer need the fill.
Please quench the need to feed for I think I’m ill. Sick from the foulness of this most certain spoil.
I’ve tasted more than I wanted and now wish for emptiness instead of the rancidness from this banquet.
I wish to crave nothing.
I will wait for the absence of sustenance to feel light enough to be…
