Until it be Morrow

Until it be Morrow

A Poem by kianatahleigh

You held me close for many years and dried my tears when I cry;
No longer here to lift me up for to you I say goodbye.
I forgot what Death’s kiss looked like until he placed it upon your face.
I know we shall meet again once I feel his cold embrace.
Sorrow, the friend of Death caresses my heart and holds it dear.
For my memory is the only place that I can find you near.
Though I may be currently trapped in a moment of distress;
To you I don’t bid thee farewell, but see you later in happiness.
