Dark Deeds

Dark Deeds

A Poem by Kimo

The shouting has stopped...

The house is quiet…

Tempers now quelled, once topped…

Thus the end of a domestic riot…

I feel each breath…

I still fear death…

Trapped in the dark

Trapped in the dark

Where fear feeds

Oh, those dark, dark deeds…

I am alone…
