CRY!

A look at that intimate moment when we show people true emotion.

Crisp rims have fallen victim to tears that sooth pain,

Moving skin tells tales to those waiting in silence,

Thin lashes look darker in a time of moisture and emotion,

Shaking departure of skittish men an uneasy alliance.

 

A tiny finger is all that guards ones face against the world,

Brushing droplets way on cheeks now pink and heated,

Thoughts bounce forth to make us fight or recoil,

Daring taunts have pierced scowls and tension repeated.

 

Crow’s feet stay covered and magnified at the same time,

There the eyes now punish the sky by opening to fast,

Green lights pour forth into minds around you my dear,

No more tears to cry tonight no more binging in cast.

It flows, it sings, it touches a very deep part of me and I thank you for that.

yes, it is better to just let it out...yes, there is the aftermath, the clues of the cry left for all to see...but there is a purging...a catharsis that happens because of those tears...we cry them and then start anew..

some spelling editing in spots needed, but a beautifully written poem...
