Casting!

Casting!

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

Just a spell to make one think of times gone by.

"

Sickened shells cast in oil blue and toned for the royal,

Placid screams shiver for pox to be added quiver,

Elves nails upon tin leave crunch on the skin,

Liver rises in hosts not fit poisons of toast,

Lost fellows now drink before time shakes and winks.

I can imagine some ancient hag stirring her magical pot, mumbling these crazy things as she sprinkles peices of this and that from her assortment of rare oddities.

Fun! I liked it!
