B******s.

B******s.

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

A response to the rioting in the U.K.

"

The gangs of war now band together,

A heathen rockland of concrete and blood,

Those children smack the fear from I,

A place once clear now geared in flood.

Youtube virals the people scorned,

A jump of women burnt with fire,

Young trolls salute the times gone by,

A hole now fixed on streets in mire.

The uniforms push and push once more,

Some b******s reek of foul intentions,

These broken windows fall from favour,

Same prayers are uttered and failed retention.

Will thoughts of intelligence never heed,

A bright light makes little change of might,

Waited arms get buried in ones fleash,

A society steps up to stop this riot.

Recently, I've read a poem similar to this one about the rioting (his name is Fenner, and he is fabulous).
Anyway, onto the subject of YOUR poem. The title was so spot-on, and I loved the last line of the poem, "A society steps up to stop this riot."
Have you seen all of the people uniting to clean up the riot? Some of them (the cleaners) dance in the streets to keep their spirits up (which is obviously a difficult task given the environment).
Your poem could not reek of more truth. I wish I had more to say, since with a poem this good should be heavily flattered, but once again I feel melancholy because I'm thinking of my home being destroyed.
Long story short: A damn good poem sir.

A lot of frustration in the world. Soon USA will be joining the demonstrations. A world where one per cent control the world. People will get pissed off and demand change. Sad part of history. All changes had to be caused by chaos. Your poem tell a real story. I wish I had the answer. Time for leaders to support the common man. Thank you for the excellent poem.
