Perfect Sin!

Perfect Sin!

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

A noted look into the world of biblical sin.

"

Tweak at flesh to send ripples of pleasure,

Thoughts of sex are a legendry must,

Ramming bodies slip into temptation,

We laugh at angels so full of sheer lust.

Tight knots make bread as soft as skin,

Cheese and wine from the finest Normandy,

Meat and butter fill high in my nostrils,

Ah to be a slave to the noble gluttony.

These are mine not yours trinkets of time,

No scraps or dirt, on which you may feed,

This house, your life forever my possessions,

I falter to no king, except the horrid greed.

Lay back and don’t move for slaves you have,

A groom of the stool you may have forgot,

Command your every whim be counted,

Relax and grow fatter you queen of sloth.

Send army’s among the fowl peasants,

Tear their children into skins for the bath,

Make men be dogs and dogs eat filth,

I command you renew my home of wrath.

That w***e lays with my love in his bed,

Those brats get everything from the pious,

A heart life I have with none of the joys,

I seethe at the riches with green envious.

I hold my head above all other nobles,

I will hunt for the glory of myself and my side,

Millions adore me and my chest will be out,

For I am the only and true son of pride.

A mirror can show you my gallant reflection,

The beauty of the world perfectly insane,

A woman like no other to ever been seen,

Her combs are weaved from hands of the vain.

'That w***e lays with my love in my his bed,' I suggest you take out the extra my (lol)
I love how you encorporated the 7 sins throughout the stanzas as how they are. Greed, pride, gluttony, wrath, sloth, envy, and lust.
It was a great read, but I love the last stanza

"A mirror can show you my gallant reflection,
The beauty of the world perfectly insane,
A woman like no other to ever been seen,
Her combs are weaved from hands of the vain."
I just love how it's written. Flows right together
Great read! (:

It was confusing and that's why I loved it.
I loved the imagery and the way you related sex to different things and how it all played out and sort of flowed into something different entirely.
well done.

i don't really have a religion so i'm not very familiar with the 7 deadly sins but i did recogonize a few.

A groom of the stool you may have forgot i'm enjoying the fact that i knew what that is :)

Your poetic brilliance massaged my mind, as I delved deeper and deeper into its meaning. Very descriptive wording and imagery in its hearty style and presentation, as well as the quality of the ryhme and ryhthm. I love it! Great writing!

Seven sins depicted quite nicely. You did a wonderful job. The final stanza made a nice closing.
