Raven Leads Me

Bathing in the sea of love
Hands gently touching
No need for a velvet glove

The moon light dancing
Just off shore
Makes me remember
Wanting and wishing ever more

The raven flies through the night
A dark mark darting
Catching my eye, but fear is not fright

Fear has not taken flight
Love sunk battle ships
Dead men gone, lovers lost in the mist

The ocean’s thrashing
With the waves crashing
My heart has collapsed
As the last wave smashed

And God I know
In God I trust
Please dear Lord
Don’t take him from us

I know he’s gone
But I’m not sure I can carry on
I know he’s gone
How can I move on

The raven quickly flies
taking my hope
And robbing me of my cries

Break free and run like the wind
The wind of the moon lit ocean breeze
The moonlight is dancing
And it’s you I’ve been romancing

Running along the shore
Missing and loving you
While the raven leads me to the one I adore
