omission

omission

A Poem by knightcall

the door will never be closed for me
maybe i was an illusion
you had few physical clues
but if my heart wasn't on those pages
it jumped off
and was found by someone else

i took all the letters
and i threw them back into the air
the combination must of made you blind
you bubbled up inside me like carbonation
then you left me flat

yesterday i went down by
East Mission creek
across the water
i saw an eight feet drop
into the water
and i said
how appropriate
how appropriate

sometimes i wish i was an animal
i saw some of them
in and around the creek
no politics, no past
just a stumble into attraction

To be an animal in silence, maybe a muse, maybe a wonder. Yet to still be the happiest of all souls...amazing! Nicely written!

the confusion of relationships - I think you might be on to something. Animals don't obsess or hold grudges..well said.
