![]() drive-by of my morningA Poem by knightcallhey there little darlin you live around the corner from me your fresh face brightens my mornings i roll past and i always smile you bring back my youth to me if i could go back in time you'd see me in a concert T and blue jeans i just wanted you to know i once belonged to a different world but i would have liked to have known you i really shouldn't rush so much the tailored suit does that to me i'd rather soak in your smile just a little bit longer and i remember the insecurity the evenings surviving insults i hope the world has changed for you and i hope for now you don't rush any part of you you lose the t-shirts of summer much too fast hang on to that sun little darlin hang on to that sun
