pocus

you once were an illusion 

maybe you were a dream that

i wanted to have

i've been living in a different world

where the edges are sharper

why can't you come into focus

the rain may be falling

but i still can see

i thought this would be a love poem

maybe it has the potential to be

i caught the rain with my eyelids

i looked out on a clear horizon 

the haze has lifted

blue stretches to the ground
