peach

i started writing

thought i'd say hello

and hello again

i can hardly remember

what made our times collide

but i'm okay with that

i see a door opening

having no idea

what's on the other side

and i try not to stumble over myself

usually i'm much smoother than this

something comes over my equilibrium

when i see your name

even though

we barely know each other

it's a dark night

and the clouds come together

but i find my way

the peach trees cover me

and i spin myself inside a compass

finding my way home
