mosquito

mosquito

A Poem by knightcall

for too long
you hovered around me
a saturated mosquito
never ready to bite

you told me of this guy
you two were ready to move in
i told you i was happy
all for
the second chances you were getting

you only wanted to dance with this hummingbird
when someone sang a song for me
suddenly you were ready to strike
the colors of my feathers
finally did suit you

if it would cost me mine
i would give you happiness
pour you all the nectar in my life
if i thought i knew
what kind of flower you wanted
your life to become

Don't you just hate it when they hover around you, until you are they find someone else. By this point, they have already sucked you dry and you know what they are all about, even if they don't know themselves. Why can't some people make up their mind as to whom and what they want?! Great write!!
