Eternal Love.

I just wrote this while watching my fiance sleep. He is truly amazing

Laying next to you, feeling skin on skin

Watching, your chest rise and fall to the beat

The beat that plays deep within my soul

And you’re the only one who can hear my songs

How can one person be so utterly stunning?

Peaceful, Calm, no worries on your face

If I could freeze this moment and bottle it forever

I would keep it chained to my heart

I want to live like this for eternity

Wrapped in your arms, where we both belong

I love this because you say that it came from simply looking at your boyfriend while he is sleeping. It gives a realistic touch this romantic piece. While most romance poems are slightly unrealistic at times, and a bit more like a fairytale, this is a realistic romance that still gives you goosebumps and puts a smile on your face. I love that all of these emotions come to your mind, it sounds like you and your fiance have a deep connection, to inspire a poem this beautiful! Congratulations ;D I loved reading this!
