Okay I give...it's either about the philosophy of coke in medieval times or a sleeping hockey player! Or I just need to catch some zzzzz's. This one needs an author's note. Help. Intriguing to say the least....

You know how male peacocks spread their feathers as a means of flirtation? Apparently fireflies become brighter under similar circumstances...on the female side, it's an invitation of sorts...on the male side, it's a warning to potential rivals, like goats with their horns...I can't remember the specifics though as I wrote this one a while back, but it's something along those lines, I'd have to go look it up again to be sure...I was pretty fond of this one at the time but I've written much better things since ;) I am intrigued by the sleeping hockey player suggestion though...maybe certain hockey players are likely to see such things in their sleep :P
