The classic story of boy meets girl

is the game we all  play.

Star crossed lovers.

Taking care of each other.

You always had something beautiful to say.

As I met you boy, I found myself loss for words.

I found you to be of a different kind

and this I found to be absurd.

We found a comfort and stood by each other like sticky glue.

Our eyes said everything.

I will fight for you.

Though there was another.

Your lover.

Whose meaning to you was minuscule.

My actions said it all.

I will fight for you.

There came upon a night

where I knew sulking would ensue.

I came up to your window.

I will fight for you.

As I lost my friend and you held me so true.

Took me underneath your arm.

I will fight for you.

When you left for your job.

We knew it would be difficult for us to continue.

But you promised me the world.

I will fight for you.

Years later,we left off where it all began.

You dropped down one knee

and grabbed my hand.

Love is all we want to do.

I will fight for you.

The repetition is beautiful. This is very well done. And your word choice is fantastic. Although, it does seem like maybe an additional stanza or two added to this would help bring the story together.
