ice storm

ice storm

A Poem by lazylines

A blanket of white to smother my mind

Breeze blown needles pierce the depths of me

I allow myself to be buried

I have a hand in it

In the coating of my soul

Freezing the blood in my veins

A comforting thought

Encompassing loss

We could all do without ourselves

At a point

At a point

We could all be something more
