Mostly just a rant.

I am a logical person

I know the facts

I don’t try to find ways around them

Stop telling me what I already know

And stop telling me it’s going to be all right

That I’m lucky it’s not worse

I wish you could just realize

That I already know

It is what it is and there’s no way around it

But just knowing something

Doesn’t make it any easier to accept

Sorry... I hardly ever write angsty things... I was just feeling upset and this came out so I thought I might see if anyone had any feedback. As always, any and all constructive criticism is welcome.

Cold comfort is worse than no comfort. That's one of the things I've enjoyed about this site--people are much more willing to let people sit in their sadness rather than explain it away. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, angsty or otherwise!
