Chapter 2 Learning Something New

Chapter 2 Learning Something New

A Chapter by Alexis

We took a step inside the camp. There were hundreds of kids and teens that varied in size and shape and even color. But each had the same star birth mark on their arm.
"You, Claudia, have access to every level in the camp." Dr. Bial was looking around as if his mind could take pictures of everything that he was seeing, which anything could be possible at this point.
"But there's only one level in this camp. I don't see an elevator or stairs or anything." Julia tripped over a wire on the ground. It ran from a wall, into one of the kid's head. Julia looked like she was going to throw up.
"Look again," Dr. Bial pointed up into the air, where a transparent staircase formed in front of our eyes.
I took the first step onto the staircase. Dr. Bial and Julia followed behind me. We walked in silence until we reached the top of the steps.
"Dr. Bial, there's nothing here," I looked around the beautiful night sky in curiosity as in why there is a staircase that lead to no where.
"Just walk," Dr. Bial was standing one step below me.
