For Him.

For Him.

A Poem by Lex
"

It's about a boy.

"
For Him.
I don't understand.
Why do you say those things,
those things you say,
they break my heart
and make me want to hide away.
You keep talking,
and I keep listening,
but the only thing that I can hear
is excuses and you trying to explain the reasons.
The reason why you said those things?
You were hurt.
You were sad.
You wanted me to be knocked down to make you look taller.
You wanted me to forgive and forget but after so many times of doing those things I got tired.
Tired of the stupid things that used to make me smile.
I used to love when you'd scruff up my hair and poke me here and there
but now its annoying and painful and leaves me gasping for air.
Air that you and I used to breathe together and now I've stopped.
You went to far.

Yes, sometimes it gets tiresome when someone you once loved everything about is now just someone with excuses and no solutions.

I only saw one thing: "You went to far." Too far?

This is the perfect way of describing the end of something that could have been good, you did your best, but the other person just won't grow up! Excuses are for children, true apologies come with no "I'm sorry, but..." True apologies are when it doesn't happen anymore.

Well done.
