Treading

Treading

A Poem by EdenHarper
"

A poem written to inspire someone who means a lot to me

"

When the tall towers start crumbling

And the gates start flooding

When paths once known are washed away

Keep treading, keep treading till the break of day

Ruts seem filled with the water spilled

And the grounds grip seems more firm

But with doubts it certainly teems-

Keep treading, keep treading till you patch the seams

When the forest has fallen

And the trees are laid bare

The past like phantoms come knocking-

Keep treading, keep treading till you find yourself walking

SFJigaga I love this. I was reading it like it was a short quirky song. Get a guitar and make up the tune because that would be really cute (:
Good job, keep writing!
