I wrote this when I was really depressed because my life was just falling to pieces.

Alone

In the land of shivers

And silence

I have no voice

I have no song

Only tears

No hope,

Barely able to carry on

I am alone

In the silence

Of deep dark gloom
Sometimes I dream,
And then I see
Sunlight,
Brimming and splashing,
But it does not come,
It cannot come

I am alone

In a world of no magic

Can anyone hear?

This cry

Although I do not speak,

Can you not see?

Are you too far away?
