Rolling Thunders

Rolling Thunders

A Poem by Linear

Rolling Thunders hurt my ears
Time moves on yet still i have many fears

As rain on the desert plain
a thirst not quenched

Time divided by time gives no recompence
Rolling thunders
blow my mind
to spirals within spirals running out of time
colours that blend, mixed with blood
let myself go, come see me run.

Rolling thunders
wont ease this pain
though it may cleanse me in pouring rain
in this agony and shame i will remain

Rolling thunders
come lift me now
I hear your rushing winds on a plateau to hell
dark are your clouds that swirl round me now

For rolling thunders have taken me in

Though its been said
it feels like a highway to hell.

What a whirlwind of emotions and vivid images. Rolling thunders blow my mind
to spirals within spirals running out of time. Lovely.

You have clearly expressed those dark emotions that creep inside our mind from time to time filling us with depression and fears. The imagery is astounding.

Hmm, I can see influences here... like AC / DC ? The ragged edges of Goth, spreading its wings. Ever read Stephen Kings --- Roland and the Dark Tower; The Gunfighter series. If you haven't you should. It would throw a whole new thirst upon your rendition here. I wrote a novel called Rolling Thunder, a sub title to Rejuvination Faction. Aftermath of Apocoliptic proportions.

I like your mapped out Rhymes, it read ok... as I said. Ragged edges. The Rythme, was halting in areas of word choices... hinting to know vowels and consanants. It will come, hard and soft vowels. Is like the finishing work in staging the drama of your flow. Ebb & Flow is your constant like the beating of the metranome, is to mark time in music.

Rock that edge man... lyrics rely even more in writing music, that rythme... cadence. A melodic configuration or series of chords marking the end of a phrase, section, or piece of music ... The dance hey. Rock Solid, and like your bird analogy. Carry the Harmony. Presentation, was excellant.

Write On / Right On! Romon in Review. Peace.
