Dice Rolls and Dinosaurs

Dice Rolls and Dinosaurs

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"
lets pretend you don't know what dinosaurs are
lets pretend you've never seen a pair of dice rolled before

so if i were to roll that pair of dice
and it then turned into a dinosaur

if you've never seen either before

would you call that illogical?
or would you just stare and marvel?

and after one million dice rolls
and one million more dinosaurs

i bet you would bet

the next rolls gonna be a dinosaur

as we all do believe
that our future will always behave

just like our past

full of patterns
on top of patterns

and so goes our future

we think
(off what we see)

yeah interesting ...

our minds work like that ... it's what we know, what we have been exposed to, blue dino's must mean more dino's for sure ...

stepping away is something that seems relatively easy, but it isn't because our minds have already been imprinted with what went before ...

which leads me to remember once again that we humans really missed the boat on this on - how the heck did we ever limit or potential to only believing within the boundaries of our own exposed minds when goddamit there is so much more ...

to. think if that stepping backwards two steps and grinding to the left for one will give us the opportunity of a bond new angle ... but it's easier innit - just to say within our own safe existence ....

did I miss the point - probably, but I just had my first doobie in years and well,,,,, none of it really matters none X

Gee
A humdrum existence, lives based on routine. Can’t remember the last time something unexpected happened.
As a teenager mind I was always getting unwanted and unexpected erections, even prematurely ejaculated whilst slow dancing at a local disco !!

It's my fault. I failed to translate this thought into a poem.
The probabilities for a random process resulting in a living cell approach 0 exponentially with the number of elements and their sequencing required.

It is said that certain features of biology are so fantastically improbable that they could never have been produced by a purely natural, random process, even assuming the billions of years of history asserted by geologists and astronomers.

Arguments based on probability, statistics do not help unravel these questions, because these arguments have serious fallacies...

I have lifted this from somewhere as I like what it implies...nothing is by chance, it is and was all intended.
