I listened to a podcast the other day about people who view with the negative. The articulation on how to u interpret the hows and whys was excellent. I will send it to you if you promise to listen with an open heart :-)

The mental state of this poem is around every corner if we allow it .

Despite the rocky impurities that make up my heart I always lean towards objectivity with my mind, to not my detriment or not.

I've been a negative person most of my life. Only recently, I've worked to try to squash the negative thoughts inside me and focus on the positive. Excellent write.

When I read this I thought of certain well known social media platforms that are such a feature in our lives. To think negative thoughts about them is seen as weird by many. Yet when we are allegedly negative perhaps we are just examining things a little more closely. I esp like the line: 'Your voice is ruining speaking'.

From this poem, I know it's hatred towards someone or probably everyone. As much as they poison life and everything around. It's up to you to decide if you wanna take it in a negative way or try to make life a little better. That's what I understood from this. I share the same thought. Many people play games. Life is like that. We have to be alert and find out who the gamers are, then it's a matter of choice as to whether we deal with them or not.

Some people only know how to see/look for the traits of awful people or the awfulness in any situation in general. Usually they are awful people themselves, but usually that awful disposition was born from factors far beyond their control. Usually they don't think anything is wrong or abnormal or inherently pessimistic with how they interpret the world but rather that there is something abnormal with the world and everything in it. Some people are raised in an environment where this disposition is almost unavoidable when they reach young adulthood.

It's not about any one person. It's about letting negative things skew a person's outlook so much that it turns habitually toxic and then they can only see the things that are ruining other things.

It feels as though this poem is directed at someone toxic and yet there's acknowledgement that "you" are being negative by choice, which possibly means this person may not be so bad after all.

I think we all get to choose. But circumstances can make it harder for some to choose wisely. And some people are just better at being one way than the other, but in the end it all comes down to choice. Hard, easy, convenient or inconvenient, more natural or less … perception is always a choice. And how we choose to perceive anything is almost the most important thing.
